ADHD Assessment & Coaching

Finally understanding the way your mind works, and learning to work with it.

For many adults, an ADHD diagnosis is a turning point. It's not about being labelled; it's about finally having an explanation for years of feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or as though you've had to work harder than everyone else just to keep up.

As a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with specialist training and experience in adult ADHD, I offer comprehensive ADHD assessments alongside practical coaching and support. Whether you're exploring the possibility of a diagnosis or you've already been diagnosed and want help understanding and managing your ADHD, I provide an evidence-based, compassionate service tailored to your needs.

ADHD Assessments

My ADHD assessments are thorough, evidence-based, and conducted with care, taking the time to build a clear and accurate understanding of your experiences.

The assessment process includes a detailed clinical interview, standardised assessment measures, consideration of relevant background information, and a comprehensive written report. Assessments are carried out in line with NICE guidelines and recognised best practice.

Your report will clearly explain whether you meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD, describe how ADHD impacts your daily life, and provide personalised recommendations for next steps. These may include strategies for support, reasonable adjustments at work or in education, and recommendations for treatment where appropriate.

Assessments are available for adults (18+) throughout the UK via secure online appointments, or face-to-face from my Bristol practice.

If you receive an ADHD diagnosis and would like to explore medication, I can also refer you to a trusted private consultant psychiatrist for a medication assessment and, if appropriate, the start of the titration process. This provides a seamless pathway for those wishing to consider medication as part of their treatment plan.

ADHD Coaching

An assessment helps you understand why. Coaching helps you decide what comes next.

Whether you've recently been diagnosed or you've known about your ADHD for years, coaching provides a space to understand how your brain works and develop practical strategies that fit your life. It's not about trying to "fix" you or forcing yourself into systems that were never designed for you. It's about working with your strengths, understanding your challenges, and building a life that feels more manageable and sustainable.

Together, we'll develop realistic strategies that support the way you think, work and live. Coaching is collaborative, evidence-informed, and tailored to your individual goals.

We might focus on:

  • Improving focus, attention and task management

  • Managing emotional regulation, stress and overwhelm

  • Building confidence, self-esteem and a more compassionate understanding of yourself

  • Navigating work, career progression and workplace challenges

  • Strengthening relationships and communication

  • Creating routines, improving time management and reducing procrastination

  • Preventing burnout and developing sustainable habits

  • Understanding your unique ADHD profile and learning to work with it, rather than against it

Practical Information

Sessions are held online via a secure video platform, and I also have limited in-person availability in Clifton, Bristol.

Coaching sessions are tailored entirely to you, drawing on both psychological frameworks and body-aware approaches.
